Inclusive Education — where every child belongs
At Big Ben, our inclusive classes (oddziały integracyjne) bring together children with special educational needs and their peers, in small groups, with an individual approach and the full support of our specialist team. We believe learning and playing side by side is the best lesson in empathy, independence, and confidence — for every child.
As an independent (non-public) preschool, admission is arranged directly with us — there's no waiting on the municipal placement system. We'll guide you through every step.
📞 Does your child have an orzeczenie? Start here
If your child has a special educational needs assessment (orzeczenie o potrzebie kształcenia specjalnego) — or you're still in the process of obtaining one from the psychological-pedagogical clinic (poradnia) — the simplest path is a conversation with us.
1. Call the headteacher: 535 107 775 We'll find a time that suits you and answer your first questions.
2. We meet and get to know your child We talk about their needs, their strengths, and what you're looking for as a family.
3. You share the assessment with us From it, we build an Individual Educational-Therapeutic Programme (IPET) that reflects every recommendation from the clinic.
4. Your child joins the group Fully supported by our teachers and specialists from day one.
Just starting out and don't have an assessment yet? Call anyway — we'll explain how the clinic process works and what documents you'll need.

Which needs we support
Every child is different, so we always begin with a conversation. Our team has the experience and training to support children, including those with:
-
autism spectrum, including Asperger's,
-
speech and language delays and communication difficulties,
-
sensory integration (SI) difficulties,
-
mild physical disabilities.
Don't see your child's needs on this list? That's not a barrier — call us and let's talk. Together we'll work out whether we're the right place for your family. What matters to us is that every child who joins receives real support, not just support on paper.
Bilingual — and no child left behind
In many settings, children with special needs are quietly left out of language learning. We do the opposite. We believe a child with an assessment can thrive bilingually too — at their own pace — learning to express themselves in both Polish and English. A bilingual environment doesn't hold children back; it supports communication, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
We also support children who speak another language at home. If your child's language isn't Polish or English, we do everything we can to support them in their own language too — including, where possible, arranging a bilingual assistant (for example, a Spanish-speaking one). To us, the language a child speaks is part of who they are, not a barrier.

Our team of specialists
Support at Big Ben is the work of a whole team, working together and with you:
-
special education teacher (pedagog specjalny) — co-organises your child's learning and daily support,
-
special educator for intellectual disabilities (oligofrenopedagog) — trained to work with children with intellectual disabilities,
-
speech therapist (logopeda) — diagnosis and therapy for speech and communication,
-
neurologopedist (neurologopeda) — assessment and therapy for speech disorders with a neurological basis,

By bringing these specialists together, we give each child consistent, comprehensive support — both cognitive and emotional.

Therapies and activities — all included in the fee
This is one of the things that sets Big Ben apart: all of the therapeutic activities below are included in the monthly fee. We don't charge separately for each therapy.

Individual sessions with the psychologist and speech therapist
-
Social Skills Training (SST) — learning appropriate social and communication behaviours
-
Bibliotherapy — working through emotions and imagination with stories
-
Music Therapy — supporting emotional development through music
-
Art Therapy — expressing emotions through creative work
-
Sensory Integration (SI) — sessions in our dedicated SI room
-
Early Development Support (WWR) — comprehensive support from the earliest years, for children with an early-development-support opinion

Our sensory integration room
Our preschool has a fully equipped sensory integration room, where our SI therapist runs sessions supporting the development of the senses, coordination, and motor skills — a safe, welcoming space where children grow through movement and play.
Small groups, individual approach
Our inclusive classes work in small, intimate groups. We run activities both in groups and one-to-one, so children build independence while forming real relationships with their peers. We follow the national preschool curriculum, adapting the pace and format to each child's abilities.

Nutrition tailored to your child
Children with additional needs often face challenges around food — difficulty accepting new tastes, textures, or smells, allergies, or specific dietary requirements. Our kitchen is flexible and adapts meals to each child's individual needs.
Working together with families
Parents are equal partners in supporting their child. We share observations regularly and make decisions together about the way forward — because the best results come when preschool and home work as one.
